The Hollow Guide

Achievements

Five achievements that double as a map legend for the game.

Field notes checked 2026-10-24 · Game build: 2026-10 build (post 16 Sep patch)

Quick answer

There are five achievements — SUPRESSOR, THE CEASEFIRE IS OVER!, SCIENCIST, THE KING OF THE FOREST and LIBERATOR — and each one names a place or a person in the campaign.

The Hollow ships with five achievements, and unusually for a small game they are a map legend: each one names a place or a person you will spend real time on. Below is the complete list with the official descriptions and the completion rate recorded on 24 October 2026.

What each one tells you about the campaign

SUPRESSOR is the easiest and the most local: a single village, Nahirna Zachepilivka, needs to be brought to peace. That it sits at 13.5% — the highest of the five — suggests it lands early.

THE CEASEFIRE IS OVER! escalates the same idea to Vanavara-Zachepilivka, this time framed as liberation from invaders. Two settlements, two liberations: the campaign's spine is territorial.

SCIENCIST is the story objective. Kondratyuk wants the results of your father's work, which is exactly the thing Morok came to Zaslon for. If one achievement is the plot's centre, it is this one.

THE KING OF THE FOREST is the anomaly objective. Forest spirits are not a metaphor here — the store page states that legendary entities appear in the flesh, and one local people is described as suffering nightmares that only existed in their legends. This is where the horror material and the shooting converge.

LIBERATOR is the finale and the lowest completion rate at 8.3%. "Break down the prison of nations" is the game's own summary of Zaslon itself: a camp that outlived the system that built it.

Reading the ladder

The spread from 13.5% to 8.3% is narrow. For a five-achievement game where the last one is the ending, that shape usually means most players who finish the early village also push through to the end — the drop-off is roughly a third, not the nine-tenths you see in games with a long tail of optional content.

There are no difficulty-specific achievements, no collectible achievements and no missable-branch achievements in the published list. All five are progress markers.

Using them as a progress tracker

Because the list maps onto places and story beats, it doubles as the only reliable "where am I" indicator the game gives you. If you are stuck and cannot tell whether an objective is ahead of you or behind you, check what has unlocked — then look at quest progression for the marker problems that make the game look emptier than it is.

The people and places named in these descriptions are covered in more depth on the world and factions page; the forest spirits and the nightmare material are on anomalies and weather.
